A letter fit for a King

When we heard of the news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, we did what we always do - and sent a letter.

We didn’t expect a response from the Palace, but were delighted when we did - showing that our selection of supporter letters got to him, hopefully spreading some joy when he needed it most.

We’ve always said that regardless of the patient’s support network, cancer can be a lonely and isolating battle. King Charles is no different.

Receiving our letters

If you know someone facing cancer who you think could benefit from receiving our letters, please sign up with us. Or, if you are facing the disease yourself, get in touch as we’d love to send you some letters.

We hear about the impact that the letters make on the lives of people fighting cancer every day. To some they may just be a letter, but to others they are a lifeline. Whatever they mean to the recipient, they brighten lives and ease isolation and loneliness.

Writing for us

If you’d like to be part of our charity and write for us, please join our Donate A Letter programme. Every letter is appreciated - and much-needed following a 25% increase in requests for them. You can help us brighten someone’s day by putting pen to paper.

And if you write between 18th March and 14th April 2024 with a spring theme, you’ll automatically be entered into our ‘Welcome to Spring’ letter writing competition - with an amazing prize bundle to be won!

We’d love to have you onboard. And if you’re already a letter writer for us, THANK YOU!!
