Spring Letter Writing Competition

Pens at the ready….After a year off to launch our book ‘From Me to You’, our much-loved annual letter writing competition is back! Hurrah.

The theme for the competition is ‘Welcome to Spring’, so let your imaginations run wild. All letters along this theme received at our PO Box address between 18th March - 14th April 2024 will automatically be entered.

For our avid letter writers - and for those of you who’ve not put pen to paper for us yet - this is your time to shine. We are always blown away by the wonderful letters we receive each week and a competition is a lovely way to recognise the extra special ones.

There is a wonderful prize on offer for the winner - a selection of goodies donated by some of our fab Community Ambassadors. This includes a personalised family print, candle, notepad and note cards from Marina of Marina B Designs, a yummy biscuit box from Caroline at the Kitsch Hen and a beautiful letter writing gift box from Rebecca and Karl at the Wildflower Illustrations Company.

Whether you’re in it to win it, or just enjoy writing and want to be involved, every letter will be sent on (even the winning one!) to people fighting cancer - offering them a much-needed distraction from treatment and making sure they know they are not alone.

The last day for letters to be accepted into the competition will be 14th April (they’ll need to be with us for then, so please allow enough time for the post). Please affix a stamp to the outer envelope as our PO Box address is (unfortunately) not a free post address.

How to enter:

  • Take your time to write your letter (or letters - you can send as many as you like) and post to our usual PO Box address:

From Me to You. PO Box 6033, Ascot, SL5 5FH.

  • Entries must be received by us by midnight on 14th April 2024 (and after 18th March).

  • Co-founder, Brian and volunteer, Ruth, will select the 10 best letters that arrive during the competition window and will pass to Co-founder, Alison, who will shortlist 5 to give to cancer survivor and superstar instagram sensation, Natalie Woodward, who has agreed to choose the winner. Natalie is a huge inspiration to the cancer community and beyond - and as a recipient of our letters in the past, knows exactly what she’s looking for!

  • Full Ts and Cs are listed below.

Best of luck, wonderful letter writers. All of your letters will make such an impact on the lives of those who receive them. Thank you in advance!
