Spreading joy this Christmas
Despite Christmas being a busy time for many, for people facing cancer it can be particularly lonely - with some spending it in hospital, away from loved ones.
Every year we run our Christmas Card campaign, where we encourage people to donate a Christmas card or letter to our Donate A Letter programme. We then distribute these to cancer patients over the festive period - spreading a little bit of joy when it’s needed most.
This year we’ve set ourselves the target of reaching 4,000 cancer patients in hospital - aiming to sprinkle some much-needed joy and connecting them to a world outside of their hospital bed over the holidays.
Can you help us with this ambitious target to ensure those in hospital this Christmas don’t feel alone? Simply write an extra Christmas card (or 10, if you have the time!) and donate to us at our PO Box. Every card or letter received makes a huge difference to the recipient’s mood and will be so gratefully received.
Cards need to be sent to our usual PO Box address; From Me to You, PO Box 6033, Ascot, SL5 5FH before Wednesday 10th December 2025.
All we ask is that you write a few lines (or include a little letter) to offer a much-needed distraction to the recipient. Perhaps you could talk about your favourite Christmas movie, the most random gift you’ve received, your ideal festive period - or just whether you’re a sprout lover or not!

Raising funds to help our campaign
Each year our Christmas fundraising appeal helps us to ensure all cards and letters received at our PO Box are able to get into the hands of those who need them.
This year we are doing something slightly different as we’re delighted to have secured matched funding for any donations made to us via our Big Give page in the first week in December (2nd - 9th).
This means that your donation (whatever the size) is doubled during that week!! So we get twice the gift, or your donation goes twice as far - however you look at it, it means we can reach and support twice as many people facing cancer. Nothing makes us happier!
We’ve set a target of £10,000 this year, and if achieved, it will mean we can reach our ambitious aim of sending 4,000 cards and letters to cancer patients in hospitals across the UK this Christmas.
However you choose to support us, on behalf of everyone who will benefit, THANK YOU so much. Your generosity this Christmas means so much - brightening someone’s day, wherever they are.
