Simple Things magazine article
We are delighted to have been featured in the December 25 issue of Simple Things magazine - and have seen a huge uplift in people signing up to write for our Donate A Letter programme as a result. Hurrah!
We’ve also had people request our letters after seeing the article - unaware of our work before - and others have asked for guidance and support on writing to someone they know with cancer. All of these responses to the article are wonderful - helping us to reach and support even more people facing the disease.
Have a read of the article above (if the writing is too small, get in touch and we’ll send you the PDF of the article to zoom in on). It’s using our Christmas campaign as a way to engage people in our work - reminding them of the positive impact that the ‘simple things’ in life can have on others.
If you feel inspired to get involved with our work, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you want to write to someone you know with cancer, donate a letter to a stranger through our Donate A Letter programme, receive a letter yourself (or nominate someone facing cancer to receive one), or fundraise to keep our work going - please get in touch!
It’s only together that we can continue to help people, so the more people involved in our work, the better.
If you fancy picking up a pen and paper straight away, but are not sure where to start… these Autumnal letter writing prompts, below, are a great way to get going.
