Donations DOUBLED 2nd - 9th December

We’re excited to share with you that our Big Give Christmas campaign is live (running midday on 2nd Dec to midday on 9th Dec, 2025) and during this week every ££ donation made to our Big Give page is DOUBLED!

How, you may wonder?

We applied and were lucky enough to receive matched funding from the Reed Foundation, who want to help us reach and support more people facing cancer in hospital this Christmas. We need to raise £5,000 ourselves to activate their pot of £5,000 - making our £10,000 target a reality. This target will enable us to reach 4,000 cancer patients spending Christmas in hospital this year - brightening their stays and lifting their moods.

How to get involved

Whether you usually give cash to us at Christmas, or perhaps you donate stamps, or maybe send Christmas cards or letters to our appeal - we are asking that this year you make an extra special online donation to our Big Give Christmas Campaign page during the week of 2nd - 9th Dec as we’ve never had the opportunity before of getting matched funding. That’s usually reserved for the big charities - and it feels really exciting to get our chance to shine and help more people with our cards and letters.

The impact

We know how much our letters mean to our recipients (we get such wonderful feedback each month), but at Christmas time, we know it means that little bit more. Add in being in hospital during this time, and our letters can make such a huge difference to the letter recipients stay, and their mood and wellbeing.

Together we can bring 4,000 cancer patients a bit of Christmas sparkle to their hospital bed. A small gesture of kindness that can completely change their day. Thank you for wanting to be part of it.

Donate Here (and make double the difference)

If you donate to our Big Give Christmas Campaign, you are directly helping people like Jess, above, who was grateful for the tiny bit of escapism that one of our letters brought her. And we bet her Mum was able to enjoy that moment too. It really is the most simple gift we are offering up this Christmas - the gift of connection and kindness.

But sometimes it’s the smallest things in life that bring the biggest joy….
