A Postbox on a Mission: Join Liz's London Walk for From Me to You
On 24th June, one of our Trustees, Liz Kentish, will be taking on a very special fundraising challenge in support of From Me to You.
Dressed as a postbox, Liz will be leading a unique walking tour of some of London's most interesting and historic postboxes.
The walk is part of our preparations for this year's Big Give campaign and aims to raise awareness of the vital role that letters, cards and messages of support can play during some of life's most difficult moments.
As you might expect, a postbox-themed fundraiser felt like the perfect fit for From Me to You. Every day, our community helps connect people through the simple but powerful act of letter writing, bringing comfort, encouragement and human connection to those living with Cancer.
The event is free to attend, and anyone is welcome to come along and join Liz for all or part of the walk. Whether you're interested in postal history, supporting a good cause, or simply curious to see a postbox walking through London, we'd love to see you there.
Over the coming weeks, Liz will be sharing updates across social media as she prepares for the challenge, so keep an eye out for her distinctive red outfit and help us spread the word.
Thank you, Liz, for your commitment to supporting From Me to You. We can't wait to follow your journey!
If you'd like to support our work, please keep an eye on our Big Give campaign and help us continue bringing connection, comfort and kindness through letters.
Our wonderful trustee, Liz.
