SPRING LETTER WRITING COMPETITION

To mark World Cancer Day 2020, and to bring the joy of spring into the hospital wards and homes of those receiving cancer treatment, we are launching our Spring Letter Writing Competition on 4th February.

All we ask you to do is write a letter including the theme of spring and send it to Donate A Letter.

We have a fantastic prize for the winner – a copy of the Shaun Usher's brilliant book 'Letters of Note'.

Each month we will select 2 letters to become part of the final shortlisted 6. And we're delighted to announce that the winning letter will be chosen by Sinead Molly from CoppaFeel, the breast cancer awareness charity.

The competition will run from Tuesday 4thFebruary to Monday 20th April with the winner being announced on Tuesday May 5th.

All letters are to be sent to:

Donate A Letter

PO Box 71038

London

W4 9HD

and are to arrive there no later than 20th April.

You can write as many letters as you like, and we'll be posting lots of ideas and letter prompts on social media throughout the competition period.

So we know who you are, if you already write for us, please write your full name on the back of the envelope, and if you are new to Donate A Letter, please include your name and contact details with the letter.

If you know someone who would like to join in, please ask them to sign up to Donate A Letter here

There is no entry fee for the competition as we want to encourage people to write as many letters as possible but if you would like to make a donation to cover our admin expenses and stamps, we ask for just £3 which can be donated here.

Please do contact us through our website if you have any questions, and read the competition Terms & Conditions here
