This summer we asked you all to remember friends, relatives and strangers when you were on holidays by sending a postcard to let those less able to be away this year.

We wanted to let you know that it isn't insensitive to send a postcard from holiday but instead it lets the person back home you're thinking of them.

So many of you have engaged with our campaign, asking for advice on what to say, sending postcards from wherever you are be it holiday or not and finding time to send a postcard to our Donate A Letter scheme.

We received 293 postcards for Donate A Letter and know that many hundreds more were sent to friends and family currently going through cancer treatment.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved. You helped brighten up the summer for so many people in hospitals, hospices and at home.

And of course, the summer may be about to end but don't let the postcards end.

Keep sending them from wherever you are, or send one to Donate A Letter for us to give to a patient in hospital or receiving treatment at home.
