WHY I WRITE #7- A WAY OF HOW I AM

Every week we feature one of our writers and ask them why they write letters.

This week's writer, Melissa, says:

I write because I like it.

I write so that I can hear myself think.

I write to make sense of the world.

I write to heal.

I write to remember, to honour, to slow down.

These are all reasons why I start writing.

I write because writing is not only a part of who I am, but also a way of how I am.
