#SummerLetterChallenge

Our summer letter-writing campaign asks you to gift a letter to a stranger.
By the end of July we want to have gifted 250 letters to patients in cancer wards.
We're working with The Lewis Foundation to do this.
Every week The Lewis Foundation visit cancer patients across 5 hospitals, handing out gift bags. The gift bags contain all sorts of things to help the patients get through their days - books, radios, puzzles, overnight toiletries and lots more. Into the gift bags are placed your letters.
So, let's bring a taste of summer into the lives of those undergoing treatment for cancer. Send us your letters, cards, postcards and we'll make sure they're received by someone who will really appreciate them.
And if you're not sure what to write, here's a sample letter for inspiration
Or if you're worried that a postcard from your summer holiday might not be appropriate for someone in hospital, read here why it absolutely is.
