We loved receiving this letter for our Donate A Letter campaign.

Karen remembers childhood memories that delighted and fascinated her. For a few moments the reader can escape to their own innocent, happy place from perhaps years gone by, or more recent times. A wonderful place to be invited to go in a letter.

Here are our favourite lines:

'Yes, a grown woman is writing a letter & adding unicorn stickers to decorate it - who doesn't like a unicorn?!'

'Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.'

'It's funny to think of the little things which once brough us childish joy. I loved to see fireworks on Bonfire Night, excited when they released a new Disney film...'

'My mind switches off and somehow I'm that 8 year old again.'
