Meet Georgia: A Young Letter Writer Making a Big Difference 💌

We love hearing about the wonderful people who support From Me to You, and 8-year-old Georgia has been doing something very special over the summer.

As part of her Brownies badge work, Georgia chose to support From Me to You. She spent her summer raising awareness, fundraising and, most importantly, writing letters to people living with cancer.

And she didn't stop there!

Georgia wrote around 25 letters, often including a colourful picture or drawing with a little note on the back. She also raised money from her family and friends to help us send as many letters as possible to people in hospital.

She even took our message into her local community, leaving From Me to You bookmarks at her village post office and telling the Postmaster all about our work. We're delighted to hear that this has inspired an article about From Me to You in her local village newsletter too!

To finish her Brownies badge work, Georgia wrote to our team:

"I have really enjoyed supporting your charity over the summer holiday, by raising awareness, money, and writing letters it has been fun and hopefully will help all the people your charity supports."

She also told us that she hopes to keep writing letters for us - something we're absolutely thrilled to hear!
