Fundraising for multiple charities

We talk a lot about the different kinds of challenges you can take part in, and we want to support our community in creating fundraising ideas that work for you. It may well be that you’d like to fundraise for us, along with another charity or two. This can seem a little difficult sometimes, so we’d like to help make this process a little easier by suggesting two different ways to do this.

How to fundraise for multiple charities…

with JustGiving:

Unfortunately JustGiving is unable to split donations from one Fundraising page to multiple charities. Instead, you’ll need to build a separate fundraising page for each charity, then join them together with a Team page, giving your donors the choice of which charity they donate to. JustGiving suggests adding a line to your fundraising story letting people know you'd like to keep funds as equal as possible.

If you’d like to do this, you can follow the steps in this article to get everything set-up.

with Charities’ Trust Sponsor Me:

Sponsor Me is a newer site, so the user experience isn’t quite the same as JustGiving’s - however you can do spilt fundraising. In fact, you can raise money for up to six charities for each page you set up on their site. You can also decide how the money is split between the charities.

If you’d like to fundraise with Sponsor Me, we suggest you search for From Me to You by using our registered charity number (which is 1183413) to be able to find our listing on the site or when selecting the charities you’d like to fundraise for.

These are just two ideas, and if you’d like to suggest any other fundraising sites that allow split-fundraising. As ever, thank you for your continued support - whatever form that may come in!
