Double the Difference: FMTY Selected for The Big Give
We are delighted to share some exciting news!
From Me to You has been selected to take part in The Big Give Small Charity Week campaign, which will run from 22nd - 29th June 2026.
After months of waiting to hear whether our application had been successful, we are thrilled to have been chosen for this special matched funding campaign. The opportunity is only available to selected small charities and gives supporters the chance to double the impact of their donations.
Thanks to generous match funding, every donation made through our Big Give campaign page during the campaign week will be doubled.
This means that a £10 donation becomes £20, a £25 donation becomes £50, and so on.
As a small charity, this is a significant opportunity for us. We have been awarded up to £5,000 in matched funding, meaning that together we could raise an incredible £10,000 to support our work connecting people affected by cancer through handwritten letters.
Every letter sent through From Me to You is a reminder that someone is thinking of you. For people facing cancer, receiving a handwritten letter can bring comfort, encouragement and a sense of connection during what can often be an isolating time.
One of our supporters recently shared:
"Receiving letters made me feel remembered and cared for at a time when life felt incredibly difficult. It reminded me that I wasn't facing cancer alone."
Stories like this are why opportunities such as The Big Give matter so much. The funds raised will help us continue reaching more people with letters filled with kindness, compassion and hope.
