03/02/22: World Cancer Day letter writing workshop

Thursday 3 February 2022 - 19:00 – 20:00 GMT

It's often difficult to know what to say in a letter and even harder if your recipient is isolated and living with cancer. Whether you're writing to a loved one or for our Donate A Letter scheme, this workshop will show you how to get those letters flowing and what a difference your letter will make.

Our workshop, marking World Cancer Day, is free but we also offer free tickets with the opportunity to make a donation (we recommend £3 or £5). All donations go towards the postage and package of letters and the promotion of letter writing tips for those connecting with loved ones.

A woman sits alone. The graphic next to her reads 30% of people with cancer suffer from social isolation. Of that 30%, 25% go on to suffer from depression.
